A New Look for Loki Made it...(Formally A Day in the Life of Osiris and Loki.)

Hi there everyone!!!!

Well I have finally revamped the blog!!! yeah!!!!! Im hoping to get some great tutorials up and running soon on the Silhouette Minc machine, The Silhouette Cameo and the Silhouette Mint Machine...which I might add just arrived to my house today!!!!!

I have a you tube channel up and running now, who atm only has nail art videos and tutorials, as I need to share it with my other blog Lokis Lacquer but i can pop different playlists in so if you see lokis lacquer about fear not its me too!!!!!

Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge Jan4-10th

Hi there everyone! wow it has been a while! hasn't it??!! Well Last year was crazy! I had a bunch of publishing work for different Card magazines which took up a bunch of my time and my beauty blog Loki's Lacquer really took off with many companies asking me to review and use their product. The result is Loki's Lacquer got a bunch of time and Poor old a day in the life of osiris and Loki .....well not so much.

I am going to try and get this blog back to its former glory with any luck this year!!!!

So to kick things off I have decided to do the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge this week.

Paper Smooches is one of my go to brands. I use a lot of Kims stamps with my work for magazines and they seem to go down very well. I pretty much have most of the stamp sets these days but am slowly trying to update all the dies. I just can't keep up!!!

With my little card today I wanted to do a one layered card. The theme is anything goes so why not do that?!

I used Paper Smooches Feline Friends and Debonair sets. Im really loving black,white and red ATM so I decided on this colour choice.

I also used some diamond Stickles for the glasses and a red sharpie to spritz the spray look on the background. I love the Tim holtz spritzer its awesome! and Sharpies are so full of ink they work so well! My go to black ink was Mementos tuxedo.

He is super cute!!! and reminds me a little of a rapper more than a cat with those glasses!!! its like a cat RedFoo!!!

Hi there, Once again I have been super slack with the blog. I am planning to actually make a effort to run 2 blogs now so make sure you stay tuned!!! Im hoping to run this craft blog a little like my nail blog so we can have giveaways and lots of tutorials etc. we shall see! Zoes graduation.

Hi there everyone!

So it has just been non stop on the household lately, never ending visits to docs and the whole year 6 end of primary school whirlwind.

I wanted to share with you tho some pics of my daughters graduation. Zoe just finished Year 6. And it is amazing how much she has grown up in these few years.

To think that we thought she may never go into a main stream school and stay in a special needs unit. But after a few years in the unit for autistic kids at Richmond, she transitioned out into Ellison PS and thrived!

She is so grown up! a smart ass and has her own quirky sense of style. Hence the 1950s pin up look for a graduation.(and what you cannot see is shes wearing converse!)

Zoe has become quite an artist. one of her drawings was sent to Japan for an exhibition this year, and once it returns to the school, the school are framing it and putting it on their wall in the office. She is so excited about that!
