Zoes graduation.

Hi there everyone!

So it has just been non stop on the household lately, never ending visits to docs and the whole year 6 end of primary school whirlwind.

I wanted to share with you tho some pics of my daughters graduation. Zoe just finished Year 6. And it is amazing how much she has grown up in these few years.

From a little kindy kid.......

Zoes first day at school 2007
To this week at her graduation.......

Year 6 graduation 2013
To think that we thought she may never go into a main stream school and stay in a special needs unit. But after a few years in the unit for autistic kids at Richmond, she transitioned out into Ellison PS and thrived!
She is so grown up! a smart ass and has her own quirky sense of style. Hence the 1950s pin up look for a graduation.(and what you cannot see is shes wearing converse!)

Zoe has become quite an artist. one of her drawings was sent to Japan for an exhibition this year, and once it returns to the school, the school are framing it and putting it on their wall in the office. She is so excited about that!

Here are some more graduation pics.

Zoes outfit.

Cute cards with Purple onion Design.

Hey there everyone,
Today i have to share with you all a couple of cards i created for a couple of occasions we have coming up soon.

First up is a baby card.

To create this card i used some cream cardstock and my Lil inker design rectangle stitched dies and adhered the 2 die cut cards together to make a card. The patterned papers are Doodlebug design  snips and snails paper pad which i got from Simon says stamp  I then using several stamps from Purple onion designs stamped and coloured in the pup in the box and using distress ink weathered the frame.

Once all coloured in i put the card together and with my Paper smooches alphabet wize dies cut out the sentiment.

The next card is a simple card i created for a friend.

Using a off white square card i stamped my sentiment on it and then stamped my frog using Purple onion designs stamp on some scrap paper. Using watercolor pencils, distress ink and some gold spray mist i coloured in the frog, cut him out and adhered above the sentiment.
This turned out a simple but effective card :)

I hope you liked these 2 cards. both were fairly simple to make and did not cost a bunch to make either :)
Until next time......

A blog overhaul and a few cards to share.....

Hey there everyone! i have been a busy bee lately what with september being the month of birthdays and then October was mine. Phew! im glad they are all over! So over the past week or so i have been updating my 2 blogs with new and improved features etc. First up you will notice a lovely new blog banner. All i can say is everyone needs to go and check out Picmonkey it has been a lifesaver with making quick and easy banners for my 2 blogs! Next up you will notice i finally figured out all the "techy"stuff and managed to figure out the "pin it" badge over all my pictures, so now if you like something you see all you will have to do is just hover over my pic click and add to your pinterest board! Easy right??!!
Im working on the RSS feeds which shall ...with any luck be up and running over the next few days, and i will also add some links to my IG account, Facebook and pinterest boards, in anyone would like to follow me. I will also hopefully with any luck start reviewing products for everyone and maybe even a xmas giveaway!!!
As some of you may or may not know my craftyness has followed through to another passion of mine which is nail polish...i have had a little Etsy brand running now for over a year where i sell Indie or boutique hand made nail polish around the world. This nail polish is 5 free (which means it does not have any of the nasties in it) and comes in an array of colours. check out my nail blog called Osiris and Loki Paint their Nails where you can check out reviews on nail and beauty products and see collections of my brand called Lokis Lacquer.

Ok so what have i been creating lately?? well i have had a great deal of cards in the aussie mags for the past few months and have been really just making cards for family etc. I have been in search of a new way to store my clear stamps as my current way is overflowing ATM.

Here are a few of my cards........

Well until next time...... happy crafting.....
